We have carpenters out of work here in Philly and work is booming. Jersey carpenters are flooding are work area since merger!!! This so called union really sucks anymore. It’s all who you blow and who you know.

There is no union. As a African American member of local 158. I would like to know what is gonna be done with the members who decided to wear Black Face during the mummers parade. We receive no respect on the job as it is from all the trades now this shit on TV. Something needs to be done before it gets out of hand. Not taking it anymore!!
