I had the pleasure of meeting Gene Clarke at three separate Court Conferences before Federal District Court Judge Berman.

Gene was a true blue Union man all the way.

Once he had the podium before Judge Berman, you could hear a pin drop as all eyes and ears focused on him - the Judge, the R.O., the U.S.A.O. & the District Council and Fund attorneys.

No one spoke the truth plainer or truer than Gene. When you tell it like it is and not like they all pretend it to be and do it on the record for all to witness, see & hear; nothing irks these crooked louses more. More often than not, the court reporter butchered the official transcript of what Gene actually said.

They feared him coming into their world, their court room as do all those who come to steal, kill & destroy because they knew he never minced words.

R.I.P. brother Clark. You will be sorely missed.

    Ted
