THE UBC, AS A DEFENDANT, NEVER WINS A LAWSUIT. DUG MCCARRON, AND HIS ASSHOLE SIDEKICK, JOHN DECARLO, THROW MILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF THE MEMBERSHIP’S DUES MONEY TO SETTLE THE UBC CASES. WHERE’S THE JUSTICE? IN GENERAL, THE MEMBERSHIP DOESN’T CARE. IF THE MEMEBERS ARE WORKING, WITH STEADY EMPLOYMENT, THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED. LEAVING JUST A FEW WEAK FOLLOWERS TO MAKE DECISIONS FOR ALL OF US, BY ELECTING THE YES-MEN DELEGATES WHO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE NON-UNION GENERAL PRESIDENT DUG MCCARRON, AND HIS CORRUPT WAYS. LET’S HOPE MR BALLANTYNE SEES THIS CASE THROUGH TO THE END

They are good for the membership because theyyy told you they were good ..its laughable .
Every local meeting is rigged, the " branch manager" and " team leader" in this case mike hand and j r hocker ( respectively) have so many lackey stooge " spies" , that offer information and a pat on the head and maybe a job.... To sell out the remaining local members so that true change is near impossible to occur except for the old school tactic of physically taking them out ( which is not condoned) but, if it were to happen the blame should lie at the hands of the DOL, IRS, FBI, and other agencies who have been made well aware of the rico violations that have occurred and are still in play .
Federal agencies that are designed to service citizens and protect them from organizational racketeering . Organizations that use tax exempt status, not for profit status, all while thumbing their noses at the federal govt because they can .
Either these federal agencies are being bribed through democrat party donations and " look the other way" or they are completely incompetent and complicit in the activities .
Either way they are responsible for any consequences that might prove ....unsafe...

Ballantyne. Take it to the mat.
Expose what we all knew in the philadelphia council .
We were minding our own business and being a profitable market .
We left everyone alone and maintained our market shares .
70% ??? Fuck that!!! McCarron bullshit. We were at 90+% then you assholes ( ballantyne included) who gave all your work away for 20 plus years, who turned a blind eye, let contracts slip.... Decide to fuck our market up BECAUSE you needed a personal ATM for your failing councils .pittsburgh? You are losers. Waterkotte? Leader? Laughable .
I hope ballantyne, despite the years of being a willing lackey accomplice , has the balls to put everything on the table!!!
You know manyyyyy phila carpenters have reached out to the DOJ, IRS, DOL, with information. Things that made their ears perk up like attack dogs when the names spencer and capelli popped up .
Do not think for second that those 2 arent on a rico watch list .
A well run organization is never sued this often? Why is that.
The UBC is in court so often, and members are footing the tab .
Maybe if the members realized just HOW much they are spending in legal fees , from wrongdoing by a handful, theyd realize this " leadership" is just to corrupt and too expensive .
Return the locals to the concept of locals. They are much more effective when they operate within their communities as opposed to a swanky snake oil suit who comes in and think they know jack shit about the region and biz .(eustace thats you)
The ubc needs to be cleansed from top to council organizer .
Every one of you should be fired and expelled .
You no longer work in the interest of your membership so you no longer deserve a paycheck .

MCCARRON GETS A PASS EVERYTIME. GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TURN A BLIND EYE, BECAUSE THE CORRUPT MCCARRON CALLS ON POLITICAL FAVORS FROM THE CORPORATE POLITICIANS IN CONGRESS. MCCARRON PERSONALLY ENDORSES POLITICAL CANDIDATES HE FEELS WILL BEST SERVE HIS PERSONAL NEEDS . . . LIKE WHEN HE GOT INTO TROUBLE WITH THE INSIDER TRADING ULLICO SCANDAL, AND BECAME A POLITICAL ALLY TO GEORGE W BUSH . . . WHAT A JOKE! IT IS THE REASON MCCARRON ENDORSED THAT CROOKED CLINTON IN 2016, SHE WAS HIS GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CANDIDATE. HE SPENDS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF THE MEMBERSHIP’S MONEY ON THESE POLITICAL HACKS IN CASE HE GETS CAUGHT IN SOME UNLAWFUL ACT. THE DOL IS A JOKE! THE FBI IS A JOKE. THE DOJ IS A JOKE! THESE GOVERNMENT APPOINTMENTS ARE ALL RIDICULOUS, PRESIDENTIAL FRIENDLY APPOINTMENTS. LOOK AT DOL SECRETARY ALEX ACOSTA . . . INVOLVED IN A PLEA AGREEMENT WITH BILLONAIRE HEDGE FUND PEDOPHILE JEFFREY EPSTEIN, WHEN ACOSTA SERVED AS US ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR THE SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF FLORIDA. WHERE CAN WORKING PEOPLE FIND PROTECTION FROM THESE MOB-LIKE UNION OFFFICIALS? IT IS BAD ENOUGH DEALING WITH VIOLATIONS OF LABOR CONDITIONS IN THE WORKPLACE WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. BUT, DEALING WITH THE CORRUPTION WITHIN OUR UNION, WHERE IS THE JUSTICE? LABOR CONSTITUTIONS WITHOUT A TRUE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS SHOULD BE LMRDA VIOLATIONS. MCCARRON’S SO-CALLED REPESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY IS BULLSHIT! THE MEMBERSHIP HAS NO VOICE! MCCCARON’S LAS VEGAS TEMPLE IS ANOTHER WASTE OF MEMBERS’ MONEY . . . IT WAS BUILT TO MAKE MCCCARON LOOK AND FEEL IMPORTANT. IT IS TIME FOR MEMBERS TO ACT . . . JOB SITE DEMONSTRATIONS, DEMONSTRATIONS AT LOCAL MEETING HALLS. WE’RE ALLOWING A FEW PEOPLE TO CONTROL OUR UNION, WITH THEIR BULLYING TACTICS AND THEIR BULLSHIT RULES. CONCERNED MEMBERS NEED TO START TALKING AND FORMING CONCERNED MEMBER GROUPS, PROTESTING THE MCCARRON MONARCHY. A COLLECTIVE EFFORT BY THE MEMBERS CAN MAKE THE NECESSARY CHANGES THAT WILL RID OUR UNION OF THESE ASSHOLES. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

And then there is this bit of illegality
Kml is now assessing mbrs at the beginning of each year .
    Its 250 dollars assessment.
If you fail to do your 2 mups they will fine you .... Pulling it right from your vacation fund.
Extortion. Coercion ..violation of 1st amend and 4th amend rights .
Sorry ..the united states constitution supercedes the carpenters bastardized mccarron version of our org .

McCarron helped sell the last American concrete supplier in 2000 and is now controlled by cemex of mexico who over 17 years has give kick backs to American contractors who hire Mexican workers giving the illegal advantage of getting low bid and now these contractors profit from this corruption the whole time we were sending American young men to die in bullshit illegal wars based on a lie

the reason the union can treat me like a piece of garbage is because I cant afford legal rep but what if 500 carpenters draft letters of why they believe that through conspiracy and collusion they have been adversely impacted by the ubcj and pay 500 dollars each and have a quarter million dollars to file class action lawsuit

I am not Mike McCarron and certainly do not post at the request of the scum bag Douglas McCarron. If you have some information to provide that will expose Dirty Doug Weinstien than put it out there in a coherent manner instead of your delusional BS or piss off.

Exactly. The Dol ..the nrlb and the irs alllll look the other way.
The carpenters " union" is now a dictatorship with a bogus constitution lending pension monies out to entities. ( hoffa was killed for this) and engaged in creating a " part time" work force who most will never see the rewards .
Doug McCarron!!! How do frank spencer and mike capelli still have jobs after stealing money directly from the training funds.
Why are they not at a minumum suspended without pay until the john ballantyne lawsuit is settled .
As members it is time for a national vote of no confidence.
One way to do this would be to pick a date and have a national ' sick out" maybe even 1 week .
The dues check off alone would send a clear message that we are gathering and are coming for his head.
We wont ..we arent united .
McCarron laughs bc he knows we wont.... And the theft continues .

Also.... It would be both poetic and symbolic if we walked out on May 1st .
      For obvious reasons.

It starts at our job sites. Members need to talk to other members about these horrific problems with the UBC, and the need for a collective voice to run the old guard out of office. A walk off will send a strong signal to everyone that McCarron does not control the members. There are members throughout North America that are of the same opinion, a change is necessary for the preservation of democracy. Start networking with others, securing trust is always important, but improbable. Establish a goal and develop a plan to reach your objective. Individually, members are powerless, but collectively can control any situation, from the job site to the Union Hall.

The current " average" members fall into 3 classes .
Due to the fact that this has been an incremental plan by doug mccarron .
It allll started with eliminating voting for bus agents and organizers in 96.
Once those people were leveraged it was over .
They no longer " had" to work in your best interest bc no votes .
So ( keeping it short) doug created a " paid" allegient chain of command that answered to him and did his bidding or theyd be removed .
You and I were not even in the equation.
Every convention after that doug was able to leverage the constitution to his favor .
Unfortunately there is only ONE WAY to end this .In the day of PC and sensitivity we cant say it .Everyone knows the true and final solution.
The courts wont help. The feds wont help. We must help ourselves.
You can approach or write your local reps.... Waste . they still get money from doug.
      Unless EVERY carpenter votes opposite of the union endorsement and specifies that they will no longer get your vote until doug mccarron AND EVERY SHIT BAG HE APPOINTED is ;
      Fed audited
      Family and friends fed audited
Expelled from the carpenters with no benefits except legitimate "journeyman" pension .
      No one should be rewarded.
The other option is to make them wary of starting their cars .

To network with members, we need uniform talking points. We all have many personal gripes, individual situations with different parts of our union, which all affect our members . . . this is understood, but a uniform message, a couple of strong points, which any working member can understand and relate to will organize a strong group quicker.

Members without a “TRUE” voice (representative democracy is corrupt) in the administration of Carpenters Union, will never have the proper organizational ownership, which the law provides. The UBC Constitution must be changed, but first the people in charged must be removed. How do you approach working members on the job about organizational issues? Many, if not most members join the union, go to work, try to maintain employment, then go home . . . never go to union meetings, and really do not care to engage in union organizational matters. Those people need to buy in. They need to understand their future and the future of this union is in their hands. The movement will not go very far with just a few, loyal to the cause members, who believe in a change. The last UBC LM-2 listed 344,000 active carpenters . . . 67,000 of those were apprentices . . . for all North America. Our union is not as big as these punk-ass leaders claim. Therefore, a strong simple message is necessary to kick off this very important movement, a message which will motivate all working members to be involved.

The nonunion activity of the UBC over the past 23 years is deplorable: Council mergers; Local mergers; lost benefits; discounted wages; merged and consolidated pension funds; disaffiliations with other labor organizations; raiding members from other labor organizations, members who challenge McCarron thrown out of the Union over trumped-up UBC charges; Councils put into UBC trusteeships over trumped-up allegations, nepotism in hiring representatives; members fined for not volunteering to participate . . . to name a few. All are historical reasons for this movement, and to change the UBC.

Let us continue the conversation. No one has all the answers (except Doug McCarron . . . joking), a collective effort will create an ideal ending for today’s and tomorrow’s working carpenter, one which we can all be proud.
