DOES THIS MEAN THE UBC IS ENDORSING JOE BIDEN??BUT.. BUT... WHERE IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT
THE ICE CREAM SHYTER IS STILL PLAYING BOTH SIDES OF THE FENCE YET IS ALREADY TRYING TO LINE UP A UBC BOUGHT AND PAID FOR POLITICAL CROOK AS SEC OF LABOR
YOU CANT MAKE THIS SHYTE UP!!!
YOU CANT MAKE THIS SHYTE UP!!!
Movers and Shakers: Union leader touts Donald Norcross as Biden's labor chief
Former Vice President Joe Biden
had yet to formally accept the Democratic Party's nomination for
president last week when the jockeying for possible Biden administration
posts began in earnest.
And here's one that arrived over the transom last week: Rep. Donald Norcross, D-Camden, for U.S. labor secretary.
That idea is being championed by Douglas J. McCarron,
president of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, whose affiliate, the
Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters, is a close ally of George Norcross, the Camden County insurance executive, South Jersey political power broker and brother of Donald.
"We
need somebody who has worked with their hands, especially a
construction guy,'' McCarron said in an interview, referring to Donald
Norcross' career as a union electrician before his entry into politics.
"I
think it would be great. He understands hard work,'' McCarron said,
adding that he worked with Norcross on pensions and issues related to
the Taft-Hartley Act, a post-World War II law that restricts some labor
activities.
A
former South Jersey labor leader, Norcross served short stints in the
state Assembly and Senate before winning the 1st Congressional District
seat in 2014. He is also a founding member of the Bipartisan Building
Trades Caucus and sits on the House Committee on Education and Labor.
Norcross declined to comment on McCarron's remarks in a statement.
“My focus is making sure that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris
are elected president and vice president of the United States,'' he
said. "Joe has always fought for working men and women, so we’re doing
all we can to fight for him, because our future depends on it."
It
may seem frivolous to start gaming out possible Cabinet moves this
early. Still, the murmur of the speculation mill also draws attention
to Senate President Stephen Sweeney, D-Gloucester, as a possible successor.
If,
by chance, Norcross wins the nod, that would open up his seat in
Congress for Sweeney, who would vacate the Senate presidency post he has
held for a record-breaking 10 years.
DONT GET YOUR HOPES UP DONNY. MCARRONS ENDORSEMENT IS THE KISS OF DEATH
YOU WILL NEVER BE ANY MORE THAN THE FOR SALE POLITICAL WHORE THE UBC HAS ALREADY MADE YOU

Ol Doug hasn’t made that endorsement of Biden cause he needs to make sure he picks the right horse to lay his pardon wager on!!! If Donald were to win Doug would have his best shot at buying a pardon with our money, cause Trump will sell anything for the right price!!!
ReplyDeletefor those of you that dont know why the carpenters will back bidin lets break it down it has nothing to do with man hours more man hours pre covid then ever before getting sent to the hall so why would we not back trump because of corruption its not about man hours its about how much they can steal from us a much better chance of getting away with it under democrat rule trust me its not about man hours so always rember what is good for the union is not always good for the member
ReplyDeleteDoug is going to back who ever he thinks is going to benefit him the most, regardless of who that candidate is affiliated with or what we as members want. I personally will not be supporting Trump but that doesn’t matter to Doug, what does matter is him staying out of hot water.
ReplyDeleteBut what poor dumb dumb Doug doesn’t get is that neither candidate can save him, and Trump if were to win he would be unlikely to pardon him.
The fact that it’s almost September and two months away from a Presidential election and yet Dougy hasn’t made a choice proves that Doug doesn’t know what to do. Remember in 2016 he and everyone else thought Hillary was a shoe in, Doug was all in for Hillary, only because he thought she couldn’t lose and he knew he needed help from the next President. But ohhhh Doug what happened to your sure thing??? She lost!! And over 60% of the UBC members voted against her!!!
Now four years later Dougy’s white ass is in real trouble along with his accomplices!!! But it’s too late, no one is going to step and save you no matter how much of our money you steal and give to either candidate!!
You had a long run Doug, but it’s over, regardless of who the next President is!!! I don’t care if Donald Norcross was elected to be the next a President it still wouldn’t matter!!!!
Laufenberg is being charged. No doubt.
DeleteHis defense... Which is quite valid on many points... He was only doing what the gen pres was doing.
I in no way support laufenbergs actions...
If he can prove his case... Should McCarron, Spencer, Cappeli and many others than be held to the same standard?
Every trustee who had oversight of the funds is then , by ubc constitution .. guilty.
Look at who the trustees are.
Doug is in a box.
Spencer and Capelli were both promoted despite their roles.. No internal investigation.
Sorry. The general president doug mccarron is responsible for ALL of this by the nature of his position.
If laufenberg goes down.. Then so to MUST mccarron.
laufenberg deal tomorrow- remember this
ReplyDeletehe is charged with embezzling 1.5 m from the funds
he had two children working for the fund
he had his friend in a no show job- full fringe
he had the UBC training center make him a dining room custom wood table -when it was completed and delivered by UBC apprentices- he did not like it and ordered that they build another one- he did not pay for the labor
he drove around in a $60,000 vehicle paid for by the fund
he took numerous trips to exotic places with meals golf etc all - on FUND business
he lived like a king - all with the members money-
He also increased his compensation without trustee approval and I. Violation of his already over generous contract!!! He also retired as a member (laughable or tragic in of it self) but stayed on as a fund manager for all the pay and benefits he was and wasn’t entitled to!!!
DeleteGeorgie is facing charges by the Feds and from the pension fund administrators who are also suing him in private court. That’s a two front war his fat ass is losing......
But there is light at the end of the tunnel Georgie provided you sign that deal!!!!! 2 hours and 46 minutes to go......tick, tock, tick, tick.......
Keep in mind.
DeleteMcCarron. Spencer. Cappelli all knew of laufenbergs actions.
They fired Ballantyne and dissolved the council because Ballantyne fired Laufenberg.
Ballantyne was told " to keep it in house"
"Play ball"
Be a team ( mccarron ) player.
Thats Team McCarron.
All you delegates in phila... Yeah.. You voted for this.
That’s the key take away from the UBC GC, delegates overwhelmingly voted to re-elect individuals who fought to protect their friend who stole from members!!! That truly sums up Team McCarron’s UBC, where thieves and frauds come first.
DeleteThe record speaks for it self and you delegates can’t hide from who and what you voted to perpetuate.
This house that Doug built can’t be saved, it’s time to burn it down!!!
They voted to put officers in that tried to protect their " friend" and his theft.... While stealing themselves and protecting their own asses.
DeleteDelegates. When the class action CRIMINAL complaint is filed... You will be named as individual accomplices to theft of funds.
Placid LLC.
Delegates. If you arent aware of what that is... I suggest you get familiar.
You can still recant your vote.
Send this article or blog to Trump. The more the merrier...
ReplyDeleteDoug seven Labor Unions just endorsed Biden. Was the UBC one of them?? Are you trying to hedge your bets Dougy???
ReplyDelete7 labor unions who want to crush labor.
ReplyDeleteRemember this. " if you have 250k in your 401k...youve made enough... Further contributions should go to those without a pension"
Barack Obama on his pension redistribution plan. 2015.
If you are an American citizen who happens to be a union member...read your sworn oath.
If after that you still vote democrat in its current form.
You are dishonorable. And a fool.
Heres a concept.
ReplyDeletePut out a mailer / poll.
Ask your members who they support.
Anonymously.
Take the poll of your ACTUAL MEMBERS and then back a candidate.
Personally i feel we shouldnt endorse anyone. 50/ 50 split in donations.
You want to keep playing politics and you are bound to get screwed.
Look carefully at the jersey model of trying to elect members to seats.
It only furthers corruption which we are already flush with.
Political Action is pretty simple. First you identify what your top political issues are from the local level to the state level then last but not least the national level. Then you bring those political issues to those elected officials who can get it done for you and your members. This simple strategy bore fruit for years for the MRC. There were two key elements of this basic strategy; one political support was not based on party but on what you could do for the members who paid for the contributions and went door to door, two, local unions led the way on local politics because local members living in one neighborhood or another could make the biggest difference in the outcome of a local election. Political ideology didn’t matter, what was in the interests of the members came first.
ReplyDeleteThe political strategy of the EAS is obviously not the same as was that of the MRC, like so many other things, and the outcomes are not the same either. Today the EAS uses our money to the benefit of non-members like George Norcross.
Political Action when done on behalf of the member is pretty simple. So why doesn’t the EAS Council take the simple approach?? Because the EAS managers do not want to work on behalf of the members.
There is a lot of truth to this.
ReplyDeleteTeam McCarron removed the " local" which in essence removed the member from input.
All politics is local. Regardless of party.
We now " banner" with people we dont know... For people we dont know...to effect a cause that we dont know... Changing " laundry" every year.. To a council we do not identify with and yet we are told its " for the good" which is a crock of shyte. Now you wonder why there is almost zero support?
Its the same old lie.
For instance:
" ohhhh the cost of healthcare is rising" we cant help our contractors unless we get more money in the plan.
Meanwhile. " this is a wonderful opportunity for the EAS as you know it expands our collective bargaining power by having over 44000 members..
Really? When was the last time we used cba to lower ANY COST which in turn " might" help us?
The answer is never. Because its a lie.
( unless you count the new provisional wage which is indeed less but it certainly will not help the member because it is a systematic plan through attrition to erradicate the journeyman wage.
The member will suffer. Not the union funds.
You all need to wake up.
There are 2 definitions of the word union.
There is the union conglomerate which will usually survive by always feeding itself... Then there is the rank and file who " feed" this , even as their wages and benes decline.
The McCarron mantra is that of PT Barnum.
" there is a sucker born every minute"
Its hard to support something i am no longer a part of or even recognize. Their hope is attrition.
All you carpenters with over 15 years... You guys are going to take it hard in the chops.
Wake up. Its not about whether you are working today.
Look at what you are " accepting"
You need to take a stand and do whatever you can to protect your livlihood. The ubc wont.
The number 1 reason that organized labor in the construction industry fears right to work laws?
ReplyDeleteThe number 1 reason. Cutting through the crap.
The real reason is that rtw laws force union labor and leadership to SERVE the members interests in order to attract and maintain membership. Period.
Just as you were told the mupps was legal.
Just as you were told that retirees could only work 40 hours a month if we were at full employment.
Look. Its all lies.
One by one the truths are being uncovered.
The green new deal and the ProAct will crush american workers.
Those of you who went through the 1st foray into the green initiative might recall that quotas were mandated on " green jobs" .... Anyone?
Its a scam. Just as Bruce Offners green initiative classes were a scam. Federal monies to the training centers ... Redirected to many many pockets to include Bruces ( but he doesnt want you to know that)..
Wake up. Look around.
Stop voting to elect those that are in bed and control those that are in place to protect you from abuses ( fed agencies) from your unions.
Dems fed by union pacs.
Dem lawmakers appoint dem judges who look the other way because they protect the dem unions who give pac money.
See how this works?
Look at the outrageous 20 months it took Roy.
Keep in mind. The original charges were " dismissed" by the phila branch nrlb.
Think about that.
Roy pursued it through pittsburgh and dc. They looked at it.
It was bumped up to division of advice.... Then after phila got their ass reamed they called back to say... Uhh. Uhhh. Umm yeah uhhh maybe there is something to this.
God damn right there was!!
The division of advice is like the nrlbs " supreme court".
Had Roy walked away at the 1st huge hurdle ... Nrlb would be happy. The ubc would be happy . you and i would continue to be extorted.
Alllll because the system feeds itself to protect itself.
Once again. 97% pacs to dems.
Dems legislate laws appoint judges and agency personnell as political favor. They protect union leadership who give them pac money.
Who pays the freight. We do.
We pay for all these ppl.
Both taxes and dues.
We pay taxes and dues and get zero protection from either agency or union.
Time to change this. You have nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain.
You pay through the nose. Demand you be represented.
Agreed. But it must be remembered that Republicans aren’t going to help us more than Democrats are or have. McCarron supported Bush Jr. When he was in office and the then Labor Secretary (Mitch McConnell’s wife) sided with McCarron against the members on multiple occasions. Politicians in most cases have an indirect effect on organised Labor. No politician is going to step in and save George Laufenberg, or Johnny Doc, or any of the UAW leaders who are getting charged and pleading guilty to multiple violations of Labor Law etc.
ReplyDeletePoliticians didn’t get us to where we are today. Doug McCarron did.
At this point the only thing we can do is exorcise our rights under the law like Roy did and stop paying dues. Our dues money is to the EAS and the UBC what water is to a fish.
Do we have a say in how our dues money is used? Nope. Is our dues money used to benefit us members or is it used to benefit the employees of the union?? I don’t get jobs from my Union Reps, I don’t get a raise or better working conditions not already included in my Agreement from my Union Reps. If my Union Reps quit today it wouldn’t make a difference to me or my fellow members because our Union Reps don’t do anything for us. So what are we paying for?? I’m paying close to ten thousand dollars a year to my local union, council, and UBC, and I get nothing in return for it. What I get paid today was determined by my Union and the MRC which was dissolved over 4 years ago not by my current Union Reps or Billy Sproule. If anything, my current Union Reps are using my dues against me and my fellow members by supporting the creation of provisional 2nd class members who will displace me because they’ll work at a lower rate.
Do I support Right to Work laws??? I do now because my Union does not support me. My Union takes my money without my consent and uses it without my approval.
The Supreme Court recently ruled that a Union member can withhold dues payments to a Union if that Union uses that money in violation of what that members believes is right in accordance with their First Amendment rights.
A side note.
DeleteElaine Chao ( mitch mcconnells wife) was indeed bushs sec lab.
The attorney that they " beat" and " over ruled" was a man named eugene scalise.
Scalise is the current sec labor.
Scalise knows mccarron allll to well.
Scalise has a good memory.
Scalise changed the nrlb board to a more balanced number.
The dol is " changing" ..
Now is the time to inundate them with paperwork and emails.
Especially with the header name Douglas McCarron.
Reams of paperwork.... From his own membership ... Goes a long way.
Scalise is not a stupid man.
Key words in there.
DeleteWithout my consent and without MEMBER approval.
Playing this charade of " delegates" voted for it will be coming to an end shortly.
Just because the ubc has a constitution ... By no means does it make it legal within the guidelines of federal law.
2 examoles.
45 0.
45 Q. Both illegal.
There are more coming as a bunch of us are disecting it.
Line by line and discussing it with labor attorneys. Not the sproules type...real attorneys that give real counsel that effect real results.
This is time consuming.
As i said. There are 2 big ones.
There are more coming.
Keep in mind.
" tax exempt"
" not for profit"
When members dont vote.
1 vote. 1 member.
There is NO union status.
Stay tuned.
Ohhh Boy I cant wait!!!
