THE NLRB HAS RULED THE UBC PACIFIC NORTHWEST COUNCIL CARPENTERS REPRESENTATIVES CAN CHOOSE BY VOTE TO BE REPRESENTED BY THE UNITED FOOD AND COMMERCIAL WORKERS
ELECTION NOTICE
The
mail ballots will be mailed to employees employed in the appropriate
collective-bargaining unit by a designated official of the National
Labor Relations Board, Region 19 or Subregion 36, on Monday, September
13, 2021 at 4:45 p.m. Voters must sign the outside of the envelope in
which the ballot is returned. Any ballot received in an envelope that is
not signed will be automatically void.
Those employees who believe
that they are eligible to vote and did not receive a ballot in the mail
by Monday, September 20, 2021, should communicated immediately with the
National Labor Relations Board by either calling the Region 19 office at
206-220-6300 or our national toll-free line at 1-866-762-NLRB
(1-866-762-6572).
Voters must return their mail ballots so that they
will be received in the National Labor Relations Board, Region 19 office
by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021. Pursuant to the parties’
stipulation, no ballots will be counted that are received after the due
date and the parties waive their rights to file objections based upon
any untimely received ballots. The mail ballots will be comingled and
counted by an agent of Region 19 of the National Labor Relations Board
on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with participants being
present via electronic means. No party may make a video or audio
recording or save any image of the ballot count. If, at a later date, it
is determined that a ballot count can be safely held in the Region 19
office, the Region will inform the parties with sufficient notice so
that they may attend.

It is the responsibility of the National Labor Relations Board to protect employees
in the exercise of these rights.
The following are examples of conduct that interfere with the rights of employees
1. Threatening loss of jobs or benefits by an Employer or a Union
2.Promising or granting promotions, pay raises, or other benefits, to influence an employee's vote by a party capable of carrying out such promises
3.An Employer firing employees to discourage or encourage union activity or a Union causing them to be fired to encourage union activity
4.Making campaign speeches to assembled groups of employees on company time where attendance is mandatory, within the 24-hour period before the mail ballots are dispatched
5.Incitement by either an Employer or a Union of racial or religious prejudice by inflammatory appeals
6. Threatening physical force or violence to employees by a Union or an Employer to influence their votes

This was also defeated in Roy Ernsts case but many of you dont even realize it.

Its as if the non union reps were representing a union body ... Which means... Job scared wusses giving in to any demand by mgt and any decree by sproules.
