I know a council rep that openly challenged Mr. Coryell. He was some short, mouthy, drunken little mountain man from the middle of PA. Did it right at a State Council dinner. Got his ass in deep shit too. Then they found him laying drunk in a hallway at a delegate meeting one night. Pretty sure he got his walking papers after that...
Coryell Sr wasn’t perfect but he did hold the staff accountable. The current leadership says “accountability” constantly, but they’re empty words. Reps could actually disagree with Sr respectfully and he would listen. It’s a shame that Rat Naughton and Mikey Handjob helped take him out. The membership hasn’t gotten a good contract since then. Brugeras knows nothing about organizing or contract negotiation. He’s just there to keep the staff in line. There were Reps that spoke up about the mishandled MUP program and other issues. They’re gone now. Council Reps represent the Council now, not the membership.
