In accordance with the provisions of the 2024 Stipulation and Order, and after several extensions of the 2024 Stipulation and Order, the District Council and the Government negotiated over, and agreed upon, the terms of a Final Agreement and Order. The Hon. Barbara S. Jones (Ret.), a distinguished former federal and state prosecutor and former federal district court judge, and her law partner Thomas Kokalas, of the New York City office of Bracewell LLP represented the District Council in connection with that undertaking. The District Council and the Government have agreed upon the terms of a Joint Memorandum in Support of Approval of their proposed Final Agreement and Order and Stipulation for Dismissal of the 1994 Consent Decree and submitted the same to the District Court on September 23, 2026, for approval by Hon. Judge Victor Marrero.

Well it is getting started the annual EASRCC Golf Game. We will spend your money and give you nothing in return. Ray makes the locals to pay to play or you will get on Sproule's bad side. I wonder if they will discuss our Apprentice Coordinator moving on to his new job working with our contractor that is paying him a huge amount of money LOL or will they talk about the lawsuit.
The EAS is hosting a Delegate meeting aka Staff Party, at Crystal Springs Resort in North Jersey. This event is being paid for by the working members and enjoyed by the Union employees no one elected to represent them. How much will this “Delegate Meeting” cost?? Well the last time a “Delegate Meeting” was hosted at the same location it cost well over $500,000.
Questions to be asked:
1) Does a Delegate meeting need to be hosted at a five star resort?
2) Do attendees need to arrive as early as Wednesday BEFORE the meeting takes place?
3) Is there no other lower cost venue that could be used instead of a five star resort to host this meeting?
How about a Zoom meeting? They were good enough when Covid was around. Besides each delegate received an iPad to join in the meetings.
Nope! Spend the hard working members dues money. McCarron has this done monthly or quarterly. Don’t forget that each delegate attending gets paid their wages plus a daily per-diem.
Unemployment rate is high, and more members out of work. Interest rates raised. Looks like another recession is coming. Hey let’s rent a 5 star resort eat drink like kings and circle jerk Sproule and McCarron. Not saying Sproule is anyone important but a yes man.
We seriously need to have a shutdown of some sort to put an end to this corruption if the union and its members stand a chance. Guarantee your pension and benefits are going to be reduced or taken away soon enough.

Why start a company to out your son on? Do you not want the members to know Billy Boy? Did Billy mention how much the HOA fees are at the Navy Yard? Is that money coming out of the new company. Not much you can hide Bill. I say the entire E Boards head should roll, it is their Fiduciary obligation to the members. Use the UBC constitution against them, just like they did to Ballantyne.

There is no story, just facts. Certain executive management Council Reps. that go the extra mile in stealing from working members on behalf of the McCarron syndicate get rewarded with what is known as the Tripple Golden Dip. On top of two pensions, one local and one from the UBC, they can get a consulting contract for $200K or more, and then have half of it dumped into an annuity or other tax sheltered investment fund to avoid taxes. This isn’t new either, it’s been a benefit provided to those who the extra mile for years!!
