Alan
Goldberg successfully argued for the release of telephone records
in Michael McCarron’s lawsuit against the Southwest Regional Council of
Carpenters. Due to stringent legal restrictions placed upon the release
of telephone records, it is extremely difficult for a requesting party
to convince a judge to release such records. Alan's victory comes as a
result of his successful showing of the existence of a relationship
between the requested telephone records and Mr. McCarron's claim that
his right to free speech was obstructed.
