THE UBC INTERNATIONAL CONSTITUTION SECTION TO DISSOLVING

JURISDICTION
A
 Section 6
The United Brotherhood is empowered, upon agreement of the
Local Unions and Councils directly affected, or in the discretion
of the General President subject to appeal to the General Executive
Board, where the General President finds that it is in the best
interests of the United Brotherhood and its members, locally or at
large, to establish or dissolve any Local Union or Council, to merge
or consolidate Local Unions or Councils, to establish or alter the
trade or geographical jurisdiction of any Local Union or Council, to
form Councils and to permit, prohibit or require the affiliation with
or disaffiliation from any Council by any Local Union, including
the right to establish statewide, province wide and regional Local
Unions or Councils having jurisdiction over specified branches or
subdivisions of the trade. When action is taken pursuant to this Section
to establish or dissolve any Local Union or Council, to merge
or consolidate Local Unions or Councils or to establish or alter the
trade or geographical jurisdiction of any Local Union or Council,
the General President shall have authority to transfer members from
any Local Union to any other Local Union. The vested rights of the
members shall be preserved and where action as herein described
is taken, the General President and General Executive Board shall
preserve the membership rights of the members of affected Local
Unions, including their right to attend and participate in meetings, to
vote, to nominate candidates and to be nominated and run for office.
In connection with the foregoing, the General President may, upon
finding it appropriate, appoint a committee to hold hearings upon
due notice to directly affected Local Unions or Councils, and make
findings and recommendations.

The right is reserved to the United Brotherhood through the
International Body to regulate and determine all matters pertaining
to the various branches and subdivisions of the trade. The General
President may designate subdivisions of the trade and may provide
such support as he deems appropriate to further the interests of the
United Brotherhood and its membership in such trade subdivisions.

To subordinate Local or Auxiliary Unions, District,
Regional, Industrial, State and Provincial Councils the right is
conceded to make necessary laws for Locals and District,
Regional, Industrial, State and Provincial Councils which do not
conflict with the laws of the International Body.
D

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of
America shall have the right to establish trusteeship over and to
conduct the affairs of any subordinate body (including the
removal of any or all officers of such subordinate body) to correct
financial irregularities or to assure the performance of collective
bargaining agreements and the responsibility of the subordinate
body as a bargaining agent or to protect the interests and rights of
the members or whenever the affairs of the subordinate body are
conducted in such a manner as to be detrimental to the welfare of
the members and to the best interests of the United Brotherhood,
or for reason(s) set forth in § 302 of the Labor Management
Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959, as amended (“LMRDA”),
29 USC 462, subject, however, to the provisions of Paragraph H
of Section 10. The authority granted to the United Brotherhood
herein includes the authority to establish trusteeship to prevent
secession or disaffiliation by any subordinate body or bodies.

The United Brotherhood shall enact and enforce laws for
its government and that of subordinate Locals and Auxiliary
Unions and District, Regional, Industrial, State and Provincial
Councils and members thereof.

Section 10.

B 
The General President may personally, or by deputy, take
possession for examinations of all books, papers and other
records, including all financial records, of any Local Union,
Council, or other subordinate body, summarily when necessary,
and the same shall remain in possession of the General President
within the jurisdiction of the Local Union, Council, or other
subordinate body until a complete report has been made and filed.

Whenever it appears to the satisfaction of the General
President that any Local Union or member thereof, or any
Council or member thereof, is acting contrary to the welfare of
the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, or
that trusteeship should be established over the conduct of the
affairs of any subordinate body as set forth in Section 6D, the
General President may appoint a committee to hold a hearing,
after due notice to such subordinate body or member. Upon
completion of the hearing, the committee shall report its findings
and recommendations to the General Executive Board and to the
member or subordinate body involved. The General Executive
Board is empowered to take such action as is necessary and
proper for the welfare of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters
and Joiners of America, subject, however, to the right of appeal to
the next General Convention, to the extent permitted by Section
53G. If the General President determines that an emergency
situation exists, the General President may appoint a
representative to assume trusteeship over any Local Union or
Council pending the holding of a hearing and the completion of
the proceedings as provided for in this Section.

J 
Whenever, in the judgment of the General President, subordinate
bodies or the members thereof are working against the best
interests of the United Brotherhood, or are not in harmony with
the Constitution and Laws of the United Brotherhood, the General
President shall have the power to order said body to disband under
penalty of suspension.

HOW TO RECOVER A SEVERELY DECLINING MARKET SHARE

Loot and mismanage members Pension funds. Divert hundreds of millions to finance scams such as ULLICO. $13 billion of Union Pension money to the scumbags at ULLICO J and MEPTS Newtower in a single year. 45 UBC Pension funds feeding them.

  

Divert hundreds of millions to give to the anti Union such as Stephen Ross and Related,Donald Trump,SL Green,Union busting Hilton  and Brookfield.
      

Create a group called the NCCMP comprised of Union International leaders including Hoffa,McCarron and McGreedy and etc.. Secretly use Union members money to finance these pack of rats as they conspire to rob retirees and tank defined benefit pension funds. Secretly spend millions to lobby for legislation to rob your own members pension checks.
      

Buy agency heads such as Gautbaum,Perlin and Borzi,buy crooked politicians such as Earl Pomeroy and George Miller( both now working for the Unions) and buy crooked Labor and Pension Committee Chairs such as Robert Andrews(now working for the Union after leaving office rather than face an ethics investigation).
     

Use the NCCMP and your crooked politicians  and spend 2009 and 2010 trying to get the feds to give the pension funds bailout money so  the same crooks and thieves continue to loot the Pension funds.Fail. No bailout money from the feds.
    

Spend 2011-2013 with the NCCMP rats creating legislation called "Solutions not Bailouts" an attack on ERISA allowing these crooks and rats to cut the Pension  checks of retirees to cover the losses from the crooks looting our Pension Funds. Pensions checks that had been protected for 50 years.Make sure the language of your "rob retirees to cover for your theft"legislation is so discriminatory and ambiguous that it is borderline absurd. The thieves stay in power. Retirees may not sue over the decision to cut their checks. The thieves can sue if they are not allowed to cut checks. Retires are entitled to a representative but the thieves pick and control him or her. There is a vote to cut checks but if the retirees vote against it they can override the vote and cut checks anyways. During the vote any ballot not returned is counted as a yes vote
     

Have UBC Doug McCarron write a letter to congress declaring they must allow Dougy and his NCCMP Rats to steal from retirees and promote the legislation so UBC Retirees "would not become a burden on the tax payers.
            

    Little Jimmy Hoffa writes a letter saying the IBT is against cuts. The letter comes AFTER MPRA is on the books as law. After Hoffa spends  millions and uses the Teamster Lobby to Lobby for MPRA.
 

On September 13,2017 more than 34,000 retirees were notified that on October 1,2017 they would be stealing 29% of their pension checks with more cuts to possibly come in the future. The rats who looted their fund are to stay in power and continue to loot and mismanage the fund.. The rats who looted their fund will collect their International and other multiple pensions with no cuts. The rats who looted this fund,found guilty of multiple breaches of fiduciary duty under ERISA, will continue to hold their fund meetings at Florida resorts because as they said it snows in Syracuse. Meetings the DOL found illegal under ERISA.

How does this effect the fight to recover market share.

3. Provide Safe working conditions. Fail
4. Protect you from retaliations. Fail

This country needs a new direction in the labor force of recruiting new and proud members that can bring home a decent paycheck and support their families and communities in which we all live,,, We are the fabric of society and Proud Americans of being in the best nation in the world.... We cant let this political and corporate corruption continue

"Ballots were mailed to 34,755 participants: 9,788 voted no and 4,081 voted yes. But under the rigged voting rules, Treasury is allowed to count all non-votes as yes votes".
So despite the overwhelming opposition by 70% of the voters, the cuts have been approved.
