JUST ANNOUNCED:LOCAL UNIONS IN OREGON  AND WASHINGTON DISSOLVED

Effective March 1, 2023, the following local unions have been dissolved at the direction of the UBC, per the UBC Constitution under Section 6-A: Locals 30, 41, 70, 129, 146, 271, 816, and 1503. Members of those locals will be transferred to these newly established local unions: 206, 360, 425, 503, and 541. 

• Members of the Dissolved Local Unions residing in King and Kitsap Counties in Washington state shall be transferred to Local Union 206. 

• Members of the Dissolved Local Unions residing in Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, San Juan, Island, Clallam, and Jefferson Counties in Washington state shall be transferred to Local Union 425. 

• Members of the Dissolved Local Unions residing in Mason, Grays Harbor, Thurston, Pierce, Pacific and Lewis Counties in Washington state shall be transferred to Local Union 360. 

• Members of the Dissolved Local Unions residing in Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark and Skamania Counties, in Washington state, and Clackamas, Multnomah, Washington, Columbia and Clatsop Counties in Oregon state, shall be transferred to Local Union 503. 

• Members of the Dissolved Local Unions residing in all remaining counties in Oregon state shall be transferred to Local Union 541. 

 

"The newly established locals will have an appointed Interim Executive Board and Delegates. March monthly meetings have been canceled and will resume in the months to come. The new Local Executive Board will determine the location and time. Questions about this transition will be addressed in-person at special called local meetings"
