"Douglas J. McCarron is in town today on a surprise visit. He interrupted the Regional Council’s Executive Board Meeting with a team of international reps. The official explanation seems to be a voter fraud investigation.
Rank-and-file were sent home and all Business Agents in Western Washington were ordered to turn in their electronics. Business Agents are expected to report to the Kent office at 6:30AM daily.
The rumor is that the Executive Board voted to give administrative power to the International.

McCarron placed the PNWRC In trusteeship for one reason to stop the United food and commercial workers representation, If all goes well for McCarron he will have 18 months Trusteeship. Charges must be filed immediately with the NLRB

It is laughable that the international is claiming to investigate rigging an election when there own people solicited funds from their employees for the international election in cash, or check “wink wink cash is king”! All on business hours, and union premises before they even had opposition.

Now there’s something a Grand Jury could investigate, the collection of campaign contributions to re-elect Doug McCarron, even though he runs unopposed. Think about how much money was kicked into Doug’s petty cash/campaign fund. If eighty percent of all UBC council Reps made a $50.00 dollar contribution to Doug’s campaign that would amount to thousands of dollars. I know the EAS Reps had to kick in at least a hundred bucks a piece.

Re: UBC Trusteeship
On Monday, October 25th, an Executive Committee resolution was passed and posted that granted the UBC trusteeship over the Pacific Northwest Regional Council of Carpenters (also referred to as Northwest Carpenters Union). Upon that resolution, I was appointed Supervisor for the Regional Council. I am a 41-year member and have served as a representative of the organization for over 30 years.
Last week, Executive Secretary-Treasurer Evelyn Shapiro, Director of Organizing Juan Sanchez, and Director of Contract Administration Dan Hutchins resigned both their positions and their membership. There is a UBC team on the ground in the Kent office conducting a thorough investigation into voter fraud (POSTER'S NOTE: 400 VOTES IN FAVOR OF THE STRIKE-ENDING TA, ALL FROM THE SAME IP ADDRESS), pension and welfare investment improprieties, and other areas of mismanagement. The investigation is ongoing, and we cannot share any additional details at this time.
Our top priority remains servicing the needs of our members and organizing. We appreciate your patience and solidarity during this time, and we will keep you updated when there is information we can share.
