This may not be the biggest " theft" and certainly only a sliver of abuse of office.
The only way justice could possibly be met is to also indict the entire trustee coalition that by the UBC construct and constitution puts those failsafe check and balance in place so an administrator theoretically can NEVER do this.

Ballantyne could have started the process to begin ending the ubc corruption.

The courts are myopic and the attorneys kill themselves to make sure justice never peeks.
The entire system is corrupt especially in new jersey.
We spend a fortune on attorneys that are in essence defending those who are harming the member.

Members pay attorneys to ADVOCATE against us.
Any member that went to visit a hearing. Think about this.
You as a resident citizen are paying for every person in that court ... The bldg. The utilities. The landscaper. The stenographer. The judge. The prosecution etc.
And then. You are ALSO PAYING for the corrupt ubc ldrs attorney who is sticking it up our arses by defending a corrupt ubc ldr caught in scandal.
What a disgrace.
Murphy kept john for all his doing with his initial bid for governor. He knew how dirty the carpenters are as he still deals with them.
More importantly carpenters wanted John’s spot at nj Bluecross it also upset iron worker and president of nj senate Steve Sweeney think of what those to groups could’ve done with that spot. So with that spencer to our funds with norcross and made a deal with independence bcbs in Philly to punish them.
No one can see this I guess all aspects of NJ and Federal law no one turning over large stones to enter a den of snakes

As for why Murphy put Ballentine into a high paying board position, it was because Ballentine supported him in his winning bid for the Governors office and secondly because he backed Murphy against Sweeney and Spencer. Which also motivated Spencer and McCarron to move against Ballentine.

I give credit to Ballentine for filing the suit after he was fired. But it is a fact that he had them over a barrel like no one else ever has. All he had to do was make them go to trial and they would’ve retired to at least lock up the pensions.
The boob still would’ve gotten paid but we’d all be benefit from team McCarron heading for the hills and a prison cell.
But again they are now still in office because of Ballantine. Are they subject to investigations? Yes but at this pace Doug and Spencer will be long dead before they get charged with anything.
So yeah Ballantine is as bad as McCarron is for letting him off the hook.
