Enough is enough! When will the federal government put the UBC general office into trusteeship? Union carpenters need a special "Constitution Convention" . . . where the union membership can restructure their UBC Constitution to serve the UBC membership . . . and not be a mechanism which serves ONLY the UBC general officers . . . especially, the general president.
A critical review, by carpenter members (through committee), of the general office, will determine there is NO reasonable need for this ridiculous level of bureaucrats in the Carpenters Union. Abolishing the UBC general office and its officers will be a major step in restoring democracy back into the Carpenters Union.
