*This poem was written by one of the UBCs and Doug McCarrons victims of persecution. We do not claim that Doug McCarron has done the right thing and resigned or that the courts have finally removed him.But one must always be prepared for the joyous moment when this blight on organized labor has fallen.

MIKE MCCARRON CASE MOVES FORWARD.

THE UBC TRIAL SYSTEM ON TRIAL .SECTION 52 AND SECTION 14D WILL BE JUDGED.

An attempt to get the Mike McCarron case tossed on a technicality has failed. A federal judge TODAY DECIDED HE WILL hear the counter claim and allegations against Doug McCarron and his fellow UBC defendants. The Judge struck an early version of the counter claim and accepted a newer version with more ass to it. The Judge also declared his intent to allow the Bloom firm to amend if a dismissal request is filed.

THE SECTION 52 SYSTEM, IN A BLATANT ATTEMPT TO DENY YOU AN ATTORNEY, STATES "THE ACCUSED AND THE ACCUSER MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE TRIAL COMMITTEE IN PERSON OR BY COUNSEL (WHO SHALL BE A MEMBER OF THE UNITED BROTHERHOOD  )AND SHALL BE ENTITLED TO BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES WHEN THE TRIAL COMMITTEE IS GIVING EVIDENCE .THIS STIPULATION IS A BLATANT ATTEMPT TO SEE TO IT MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE COUNCIL.HOW MANY CARPENTERS ARE ALSO ATTORNEYS.... BROTHER MIKE MCCARRON

In 1978, Mike McCarron joined Local 1506 in Los Angeles, California. He completed the drywall-lathing apprenticeship program and earned his journeyman card. While working with his tools, he attended all union meetings, volunteered for all needed activities, including the subcontractors strike of 1983, and was union steward on several large projects in the Los Angeles area. Mike took numerous labor law and organizing classes in the evening, so he could prepare himself to be a representative of the Brotherhood.
