. . . which McCarron uses to settle all the lawsuits against him. After 25 corrupted years, the lawsuit settlements must be in the millions!

It must be hefty legal services bill because the UBC dues assessment went up again to $0.07 an hour. When was this approved by the majority of members via a secret ballot vote??? I guess that was approved by the delegates…..?

Have all the upcoming staff/rep Christmas parties spending been approved by the members? Will the members be paying for their alcohol on council/ local time? Are these parties during the day when they should be working for the members? Members need to ask these questions at meetings. Remember they work for you! Don't let the tyrants control you. Take back your local.

In an earlier comment, "Take Back Your Local" . . . the member is right on the mark. Real change in the way our union functions starts with each Local. The local's officers and delegate representatives are elected by the members of their respective Locals.

Members from every Local need to form pro-active groups, starting with your co-workers on your job site. Go to your Local meetings as a group, and force change. Collectively, we can change the world!

The new health care hour requirement is being moved to 1700 hours.

The info is not fully clear but it appears that it will be a tiered coverage. 1700 being the top.

Remember. The " union" makes no changes unless forced to do so and it is not in the members benefit in most cases.

More than likely auditors were finally asking... Hmmm. If you get 599 hour. Or 1199 hours and miss the cutoff... Where did the money go for those hours.
