George Laufenberg, like his brother, got his job because of who his dad was, not because he was a qualified candidate that excelled at his job working in the interest of the membership. He is a piece of trash, a product of nepotism, that stole from members with the APPROVAL of all the fund trustees including the current EST Billy Sproule!!!

I’m looking for guidance on filing a Failure to Represent charge against a Union and it’s employees, who failed to represent members and ensure their employer complied with all the terms and conditions of their Agreement. Where does one go to get started?? I would assume the NLRB? Should an attorney be hired?
Any guidance on the process and steps would be greatly appreciated.

Get a notebook ..
Start logging every call. Phone number. Point of contact .. basic notes of the call.. that will help your lawyers later if needed)
Right now you do not need an attorney.
Expect to be brushed off and discouraged at every step of the process...
Write your complaint clear and concise...

The Unions duty of Fair Representation is covered under the NLRA section 8(b)(1)(a)""duty of fair representation"Therefore you would start by filing an Unfair Labor practice charge against the Union with the NLRB. As stated be prepared and write your appeal in advance. The NLRB is a corrupt agency that has sold itself out to be pawns for the Unions. They will do every thing in their power and tell you any lie you let them get away with to tank your charges and get you to go away.You will be forced to appeal.The NLRB thinks its mission is not to protect workers but to facilitate Unionism and protect Union criminal syndicates.They are POS.The Unions seek out and hires ex NLRB lawyers for their connections. While the NLRB regional podunks make you hold your hand on your ass for documents to pursue your case they will give the Unions whatever they want on demand.Not only does the NLRB suck Union ass they bury their face in it.
As far as a lawyer. If you can afford it absolutely!!!!And right from the start if you can.Make sure you seek out and hire a lawyer who specializes in Labor law.They will be hesitant to play the games with a lawyer that they will play with you.If they cannot BS your lawyer your case will take a different road than if you go it alone.The most important part is to refuse to take no for an answer and be prepared to appeal some regional office podunk lawyer all the way to the top.
In the meantime exhaust your internal remedies by making every attempt to get the Union to resolve your problem. Document it every step of the way. No verbal communications.It will be worthless to try but if you file an action in Federal court you will need proof because they will try to have it tossed if you did not.
Understand that with the UBC,McCarron and their legal hack Dan Shanley you are dealing with some of the worst scum that walk upright. Take no prisoners,do not trust a thing they say and and if you get a lawyer be clear he is aggressive,knowledgeable,has no connections to the NLRB or Unions and is willing to make Shanley APC piss themselves.

He could be going to plea that he has sex with farm animals but Frank Spencer made him do it.
