I attended the Terry Mooney accounting class. The UBC teaches you what you can go to jail for, Terry Mooney teaches you how you can code it differently. He’s a real crook. Key is to go through each receipt.LM doesn’t ask to see receipts. Then they put all the dummies in place and tell them what to do, they are to stupid and over paid to question anything because they want to keep them fat paychecks.

Almost everything the Regional Council employees spend our money on is a violation of the law and which is reviewed as part of the Union Trustee training that all Trustees are required to participate in.
Ignorance is not an excuse.
A legally compliant financial expenditure that is made with Union members dues money must meet the following criteria:
1) The expenditure is in the best interest of the membership,
2) The expenditure is related to representational activities,
3) The expenditure is related to the reasonable operation the Union,
4) The expenditure was proposed and reviewed at a regular Union meeting wherein a majority of members or their Delegates voted to approve the expenditure BEFORE the expenditure is made. The nature of the expenditure, the amount, the recipient, the approval, etc. are all to be recorded in the meeting minutes.
How many expenditures listed in any UBC related financial disclosure reports, documents, or meeting minutes meets the criteria outlined above? 10%??, 20%?, 3%?
A question to ask every Regional Council Executive Committee Trustee is do you review the books and all financial records in person before every meeting? Have you flagged any expenditures that don’t comply with the law?
