No information. No mailers. No polling.

Under federal law. You can be a "working non member" of any local.
What does that mean?
It means this:
You are paid the same scale under the cba
Your benefits are paid the same as a member per the cba
Your healthcare is the same.
Your weekly checkoff is the same.
You do not pay any pac or any union affiliated fees or local dues.
Ie. Mups " assessments"
You do recieve reprsentation pertaining to cba but not as far as employment ( which doesnt matter really at this point)
The dirty secret. The secret that they do not want you to know because of the obvious fallout.

The MUP’s are going to get struck down because they are a violations of one’s first amendment rights. I’m not sure what “full disclosure” has to do with the violation of one’s rights. I do know that the UBC does not want members to know that PAC contributions are voluntary and can be rescinded.

The KML council election was a pre-planned sham to discourage anyone from running for a position in the election. First, Billy "Backstabber" Watercups puppet of a council president opens up the nominations and asks, "Are there any slates?" Second, the two biggest spineless suckholes in the council jump up to nominate & second the Sproule slate in an effort to discourage anyone else from running. A totally pre strategized power move designed to steamroll the bobblehead slate right into office! And the sad fact is that it worked. This union is no longer a democracy for the working Carpenter at all!! It is embarrassing and it needs to change. I certainly hope that Dog has competition at the next GC in 2020 !!
